Internet of Things | IoT
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the interconnection of uniquely identifiable embedded computing devices within the existing Internet infrastructure.
IoT is simple: it’s about connecting devices over the internet, letting them talk to us, applications, and each other. Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, buildings and other items—embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect & exchange data.
The Internet of Things can enable the next wave of life-enhancing services across several fundamental sectors of the economy.
Machine to Machine (M2M) solutions – a subset of the IoT – already use wireless networks to connect devices to each other and the Internet, with minimal direct human intervention, to deliver services that meet the needs of a wide range of industries.
