Going the Wrong way the Primary Education System of Bangladesh
Country’s one famous popular newspaper recently published a claim about the primary level education books in Bangladesh. Many scholars of Bangladesh reported that there have lots of wrong, ugly and mistake words use in the primary and secondary level education books.
After all, if all of those claims are true, absolutely we can say that it’s a big question about the top level authority and staff of the NCTB – National Curriculum and Textbook Board. How they’re publishing these books for the new generation of the country.
A few years ago, there had a news that NCTB will publish all primary levels all books from Indian publisher. But why, there had lots of publisher printing press in our Bangladesh.
So, it has a big hidden politics with this primary level education book. And, a number of high level authority of the education board wants to destroy the primary and secondary level education system of Bangladesh.
ইংরেজি বছরের প্রথম দিনে বিনা মূল্যে সব শিক্ষার্থীর হাতে পাঠ্যবই পৌঁছে দেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে সফলতা অবশ্যই প্রশংসনীয়। কিন্তু শিক্ষার্থীদের হাতে পৌঁছে দেওয়া পাঠ্যবইগুলো হচ্ছে ভুলে ভরা এবং নষ্ট রাজনীতির ভয়ানক বিস্তার ।
শিশুদের মগজে ঢুকিয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে সাম্প্রদায়িক বিষ এবং তার বিস্তার ঘটানো হচ্ছে রাষ্ট্রের প্রতিটি পর্যায়ে। প্রথমত বানান ও তথ্যগত বিকৃতি, দ্বিতীয়ত বাক্য গঠনে ভুল এবং মৌলবাদ ও তৃতীয়ত সাম্প্রদায়িক মনোবৃত্তির অনুপ্রবেশ ঘটানো। এক ও দুই নম্বর ভুলগুলো সঠিক পরিকল্পনা এবং সুষ্ঠু ব্যবস্থাপনার অভাবে হচ্ছে। কিন্তু তৃতীয় ভুলটি পরিকল্পিত।
যারা করছেন, তারা ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবেই একটি সাম্প্রদায়িক জাতিরাষ্ট্র গঠনের জন্য এই কাজটি করে চলছেন। আবার যারা এসব করছেন তারা সবসময় বলে আসছে – দেশের শিশুরা আগামী দিনের ভবিষ্যৎ, আলোকিত সুন্দর বাংলাদেশ গড়ার কারিগর। সামনে অনেক আকর্ষণীয় কথা বলে আসবে, কিন্তু ভিতরে ভিতরে চলছে আগামী প্রজন্মকে একটা ভুল আর অন্ধকারে পথে চলার অপচেষ্টা।
এর পেছনে সাম্প্রদায়িক রাজনীতির যে ভয়ানক বিস্তার রয়েছে, তা গত কয়েক বছর ধরেই স্পষ্ট। এ বছরের পাঠ্যপুস্তক সেই সাম্প্রদায়িক অপরাজনীতির সঙ্গে সরকারের আপসরফারই চূড়ান্ত বহিঃপ্রকাশ।
The ruling Government has twisted school textbooks into a propaganda weapon store. It is a planned move done very carefully to turn the country communal, they alleged, claiming that the changes prove the government’s compromise with communal quarters.
